LONE
STALLION Motorcycles is about to make history with a
Classic Harley Davidson Bike. A project bike is about to go from a 1989
Harley Davidson FXRSP Police Special to a Custom Police
Street Fighter with attitude. We will show you the progress on this
bike from the start to the final BRANDING of a legend. Check it out
This
bike started out its life as a 1989 Harley Davidson FXRSP Police Special.
The bike was purchase New from Harley Davidson in 1989 by Ericson and was used
to model and test its radio systems for Law Enforcement. Around 1998,
Ericson was taken over by MAYCOM and the bike was housed in a warehouse until
2003. In mid 2003, the former owner of the bike purchased it from MAYCOM
for very little money and started the process of bringing this bike up to
date. This Police Special addition was set up for law enforcement use and
only had 1700 original miles. After doing some minor things to get it in
shape, the bike was taken in by LONE
STALLION for its new lease on life as a Police
Street Fighter
The Process begins
The Process begins with a LONE
STALLION Street Fighter frame. This Police
Street Fighter project will use most of the parts from the original
bike reassembled with a LONE
STALLION twist!
The parts come off the transformation begins. This Police
Street Fighter project will breath new life into an old
classic. The goal of this project is to re-use as many parts as
possible but reprocessed for a modern look. The wheels and tank have come
off and the machining of the rims is ready to start. At LONE
STALLION there skilled craftsmen can make any design
requested. This Police
Street Fighter is taking shape.
The wheels have been cut and the Police
Street Fighter takes shape. The designer / fabricator
"CD" mounts the rim onto the rear swing arm. Next comes the
front end and tank.
The motor is out and the front end takes shape. The Police
Street Fighter Frame needs to be modified to except the new HD
Power Plant. The rear tail light and license bracket has been installed, keeping
the Law Enforcement theme. Wait and see what comes NEXT!!!!
Do to the design of the Harley Davidson Power Plant for this Police
bike, the builders at LONE
STALLION
needed to design a mount to hold it. Using a custom mounting
bracket designed by LONE
STALLION Motorcycles the HD Power plant along with the
Primary and Transmission fit like a glove.
The Skilled Craftsman at LONE
STALLION
start work on the front fender for this Police
Street Fighter. They fit the new oil tank and rear fender which will give
this bike its CHOPPER Flare. WOW!!
AT LONE
STALLION
the final fabrication on the Police
Street Fighter is about complete. The tires are mounted and the custom
pipes are now in place. For those who said this project could not be done.
FEAST YOUR EYES ON IT NOW!!
The Police
Street Fighter is back from paint. The artist at MadDox
& Son's in Evington Va. did a great job in record time. The
bike is almost ready to ride.
The Police
Street Fighter is FINISHED. It came together in LONE
STALLION Fashion, as one of the winners in the 2005 Marylyn
Bike show in Lynchburg Va.
